You know it's the new year when you require at least 2 weeks before you can write "2006" with alteration on application forms/foolscap. That's probably the only difference in a new year because everything else is the same. Same people you know. Relationship problems don't just erase themselves just because "it's a new year". Then again, the fact that there's another 365 days to fix it, I'm sure there will be a resolution somewhere for everyone of us. We just have to work at it; even if it means giving it up.
Spent New Year's Eve at church. Well... at least til 10pm. Then after much and I really mean MUCH deliberation, decided to go to Xie Jun and Pauline's party at Far East Square. I remember last year's party was at Harbourfront and a cosy pub. But this year... ohhh myy! Fluid Bar and Kitchen. Freaking happening can? There was a dance floor! That's enough to warrant a huge grin =D Party go-ers there were bopping to the music too~! Perfection. I always believe that a party should be about dancing; sitting and sipping all night just isn't my style please! Dancing allows you to go crazy without looking crazy cos everyone else is doing it. Awesome two hour long solid dancing! The DJ killed the beat with some alternative tracks la.. Eeyur.
Janet and a few friends wanted to head down to Ministry of Sound.. but upon arriving, the queue and the cover charge was a huge turn-off. Got to see many many Lambos and Ferraris at the private carpark though. MoS looks kinda happening from reports and external experience.. Would definitely want to go there someday ahem*ashley*ahem.
