When girls spot some hunk, they can happily skip home and blog about their sighting of a rare species of man. Followed by number of times she has seen him. Detailed by what he was doing, with whom and where. Comments can also vary from his choice of clothes, colour of hair, style, eyes, shoes, etc etc. It might even reach a point where the blog entry starts to becomes fanatical and sounds more like a mad scientist's lab report on a world changing discovery. I might be exagerrating but I can imagine such examples.
I digress. Back to the point, female equality.
When we ( as in heterosexual guys) appreciate beauty and decide to pen in down on internet databanks, we immediately get shot down with cynical remarks. Most often than not from girls. Do we look at beauty in a different light? Are our eyes meant to NOT look? Are our brains meant to NOT evaluate?
I believe that physical beauty can be appreciated without sexual connotations.
Sometimes, even the casual-est of dressing can spark my sweet "eye" to savour the candy at hand. Just a few moments ago, this girl in cargo trousers and plain purple shirt stood out among the crowd with her flawless complexion, devoid of any foundationeyelinerlipstickcrap. Her effortless attempt to look chic yet not skanky appealed to me.
But no... I did not have any fantasies of sticking my tongue into her mouth or rolling in the mud under a heavy downpour. I merely held her in high esteem. Therefore, I challenge anyone who has NEVER looked upon the opposite sex with such admiration to cast the first insult. The difference between me and you would be simple.
