Royal Drama Queens.Drama Queens. Love them? Hate them.
I was reading this article in Cleo ... yes, I do read Cleo while I wait for my hair stylist; anyways, I read this article about drama queens. Somehow, I can relate to certain symtoms of being a drama queen, some to myself, some to others. First off, I cannot stand drama queens, they're freaking irritating and on MSN, you see so many you probably got used to it. Perhaps we've been guilty of acts such as using nicknames to draw attention to a tiny event in our lifes.
Not only girls fall under "drama queens", despite the obvious use of the term. I personally feel, a certain need of attention does no harm. However, if you find yourself constantly seeking ways and means to get people to ask "WHAT HAPPENED", you're in serious trouble my friend.
Some who lack charm typically resort to using "dramas" to get the limelight. It's sad actually, once you think about it. I'm not saying we should isolate drama mamas. Initially, when we spot a person who's constantly acting up, we should at least find out whether the whining and exageration is credited to REAL ISSUES. If your friend does have a problem, be a listening ear. However, if you realise everything's just bull, respond with equal dramatic lines such as "OH NO, I CHIPPED MY NAIL! MY WORLD'S GONNA END *SOBSOB*" Hopefully she/he gets the bloody idea.
Please arh, don't read my post and examine yourself, I'm just writing this randomly. No relation to you... unless something pricked your heart? Hahaha.
